I am a cultural historian based in Tokyo. I received my PhD in East Asian Languages and Civilizations from Harvard University in April 2025. My research interests include 1970s-1990s Japanese print culture and journalism; the history of television debate programs in Japan; and the rapidly changing landscape of contemporary Japanese media and information environments. I also write cultural criticism on the side.
